Around the Bible in 40 Days
40 Days with Jesus Reading Plan
This is a Salvation Army produced plan and looks very good.
If you choose to read this plan, you will read a maximum three chapters a day for six days a week.
We will need to commit to reading for approximately 15 minutes or so each day.
We are allowed Sunday off for worship and to catch up if we need to!
This is intentional faith development so we will have to reach for the Bible instead of our novels, computers or television remotes.
I hope that this exercise will give an opportunity for God to speak to each of us in new ways and allow us to share the impact of our experience with others.
Prepare each day by asking God to open your eyes, ears and hearts to what you will read that day.
Read remembering this way of reading is about seeing the broad sweep of Scripture and not the detail.
