Newsletter 121 October 2020
|

Dear friends
Many things have changed across the country and world in the
last month. We have been grateful for the community that has continued to grow
around our daily online prayers, as we have held the world amidst these changes
before God. As we continue to Stay & Pray, we hope this will be a support
and encouragement.
|
Less than two weeks ago we launched our new campaign Reset The
Debt, and we have been delighted by the support and attention it has received.
In this month’s newsletter, you can find updates and calls to action, on Reset
The Debt and other campaigns.
As always, we are pleased to hear of your work
locally and nationally, so do get in touch at enquries@jointpublicissues.org.uk.
Every Blessing

Over the last 12 days, over half of UK MPs have been
contacted about Reset The Debt. Over 650 of you have taken action, and we are
beginning to build a picture of the response across parliament and wider
society.
|
If you haven’t written to your MP on #ResetTheDebt, take
action now.
|
This weekend, could you write to your MP calling for them to
support the refugee family reunion amendment to the Immigration Bill?
The amendment has returned to the Commons, and will be
debated on Monday 19th October.
We need your urgent support to mobilise action on this
essential bill.
