Training for the leading of “Local Arrangement” worship
Are you a Steward or Worship Leader who may be required to take an act of worship?
Are you interested in learning how worship is planned and structured?
It is likely that the need for Local Arrangements is going to increase in the future.
A number of Local Preachers have moved away or have reached the point where they no longer feel able to offer dates to preach.
To address this issue we have, as a Circuit, subscribed to a set of resources to make leading this type of service a little more straightforward.
We have also arranged a training evening, which will be held on Tuesday 22nd January at 7.30pm at Hatfield Road Methodist Church to both explore the material and to share some tips and techniques to assit you in leading this type of worship.
Rev. Rosemary Fletcher together with Chris and Ros Hancock will host the event which will be as interactive as possible.
The session will be particularly helpful for Stewards and Worship Leaders, however, all are welcome – even if you just want to learn how an act of worship comes together.
Please can you let Ann in the circuit office know if you plan to attend so that we have some idea of numbers. Thanks very much.
