Happy New Year, and welcome to 2020! We\u2019re a few weeks in,
\nand already there\u2019s lots going on for JPIT, and in the wider world.<\/p>\n

\n

In December\u2019s General Election, we saw the biggest majority
\nin Government since 2001, changing the political landscape for the coming
\nyears. For both those communities who have new representation and those with returning MPs there’s a chance to get to know the people who represent you in parliament. You can find advice below on how to get to know your MP.<\/p>\n

\n

2020 is also the year of JPIT\u2019s National Conference, Renewal
\nand Rebellion: Faith, Economy and Climate. We\u2019re excited to welcome you to
\nDerby on 7th<\/sup> March, and ask \u2018What If\u2019 things could look different,
\nfor people and for planet? In this newsletter, we\u2019re asking if you could be
\npart of making the conference happen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n

The beginning of a new decade often presents us with the chance
\nfor a new start, to set new goals for change. As we face rising global
\ntemperatures causing disasters around the world, including Australia, and the rise of diplomatic tensions between countries, we continue to seek ways to bring peace and justice to a world
\nlonging to know God\u2019s reconciliation. We hope that some of the opportunities we
\noffer give you the chance to explore what making change could look like for
\nyourself, your community and the world.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nRebellion: Faith, Economy and Climate, JPIT\u2019s 2020 Conference. Nearly 200 of
\nyou have booked to come along, and we are looking forward to seeing you in
\nDerby.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you haven\u2019t booked your tickets yet, now is a great time! Workshops
\nare filling up fast, so to make sure you get to the workshop of your choice book as soon as possible.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nincomes or those receiving additional financial support, thanks to the generous
