Our Church Council nominates three \u201cchosen charities\u201d \u2013 one local, one national and one international.\u00a0 Since autumn 2016, they have been, respectively, Youth Talk<\/em><\/strong>, Headway<\/em><\/strong> and ShelterBox<\/em><\/strong>.\u00a0 Unless determined otherwise, money raised during our events and activities is split equally between those three.\u00a0 In practice, it is accumulated until sizeable cheques can be sent.<\/p>\n

All money collected has been passed to the beneficiaries.\u00a0 As \u00a3256 for the chosen charities was carried over from the previous year, each received \u00a3566.\u00a0 In addition, Sarah Wallace received \u00a3100 from the church towards her mission in Bangladesh, and Babies and Toddlers raised \u00a3285 for Bliss<\/em><\/strong> (for babies born premature or sick).<\/p>\n

We normally change our chosen charities every 2-3 years so we should be reconsidering them in 2020.<\/p>\n
