Well for security and to open the electronic doors really!<\/p>\n<p>For the first time in my long working life, I also have to wear a card with our Corportate Objectives and Core Values.<\/p>\n<p>They are not a bad set of values for our work together as a church fellowship.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Treat everyone with honesty, fairness, equality and respect;<\/li>\n<li>Be open, collaborative, supportive and professional;<\/li>\n<li>Be proud of who we are and strive for excellence in all we do; and<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate integrity in your day-to-day work, trusting and empowering each other.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>So today we think of those in employment, paid or voluntary and also of our core objectives and values as the people of God in Fleetville.<\/p>\n<p>I also have my desk key and a memory stick on the lanyard but more of those another day.<\/p>\n<p><b>Let us pray<\/b><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><i>Lord we pray for all of those in employment,<br \/>\npaid or voluntary and for those who are seeking work.<\/i><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">We pray that all may receive the due rewards for their labours<br \/>\nbe that financial or in job satisfaction.<br \/>\nWe pray for those frustrated with their work or who do not feel valued<br \/>\nWe pray for those applying for work and<br \/>\npray that they may present themselves<br \/>\nto the fullness of their ability,<br \/>\nwithout nerves or fear.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">We pray for ourselves,<br \/>\nas we work for your Kingdom here in our fellowship,<br \/>\nmay we be enthusuastic, energetic and filled with passion.<br \/>\nWe pray that we may have at our very hearts the core objectives<br \/>\nand core values of your Kingdom.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">That we may love you,<br \/>\nwith all of our hearts and souls.<br \/>\nThat we may constantly try to love one another,<br \/>\nas we love ourselves.<br \/>\nThat we may always seek to listen to your voice,<br \/>\nas you guide us throughout our lives.<br \/>\nThat we may step always in the footsteps<br \/>\nyou have walked before us.<br \/>\nThat we may speak boldly of you, and<br \/>\ncommit our words into your hands<br \/>\nthat you may use them to draw others to you.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">We pray your blessing on each of us,<br \/>\nas we labour in your harvest.<br \/>\nIn Jesus&#8217; name we pray.
