We were delighted to join with friends from Marlborough Road Methodist Church to take part in the procession re-enacting the final journey of St Alban to the Abbey and his martydom.<\/p>\n

Those taking part congregated at the top of St Peter’s Street and were able to process behind the new “St Albans Methodists” banner which Denise and Joanna had beautifully handcrafted.<\/p>\n

Our Superintendent Rev Rosemary Fletcher processed with the District Chair, Rev Dr David Chapman.<\/p>\n

The parade brought a delightful splash of colour to the town centre and the imposing puppets were magnificent.<\/p>\n
