The Psalm is a call to all creation at all times and in all places to give God extravagant praise using every available musical instrument.<\/p>\n<p>Music and worship are a creative activity. The song writer forms the words which help us give praise back to God.<\/p>\n<p>There are times when I am playing guitar and singing that I am lifted to a place where I am connected to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hatfieldroadmethodist.org\/wptest\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/guitar.jpg\" data-rel=\"lightbox-image-1\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-2061 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/www.hatfieldroadmethodist.org\/wptest\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/guitar-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.hatfieldroadmethodist.org\/wptest\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/guitar-300x200.jpg 300w, http:\/\/www.hatfieldroadmethodist.org\/wptest\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/guitar-768x512.jpg 768w, http:\/\/www.hatfieldroadmethodist.org\/wptest\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/guitar-272x182.jpg 272w, http:\/\/www.hatfieldroadmethodist.org\/wptest\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/guitar.jpg 960w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>presence of God in our worship. Shivers run down my back and my heart skips a beat. <span lang=\"en-US\">The truth is that it is not what instruments we use or how well we play them. The importance is why and how we use them.<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"><a class=\"sdfootnoteanc decorated-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.patheos.com\/blogs\/jimerwin\/2015\/11\/16\/psalm-150-1-6-reasons-to-praise-god\/#sdfootnote4sym\" name=\"sdfootnote4anc\"><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The sunset photograph above was taken walking our dog yesteday evening, the camera only gives an impression of the glorious liquid gold that made me praise God for his creation. We fulfill the central reason for our existence in giving praise to God. So we join all creation in praising our awesome, powerful, wonderful God.<\/p>\n<p>As we worship on earth w<span lang=\"en-US\">e also join the angels in the worship of heaven.
