‘Sending Love to Care Homes’ heart project
Following the success of last year’s Christmas star project organised by St Albans Anna Chaplaincy, a new project is being launched for Christmas 2022.
Churches across St Albans are being encouraged to deliver a message of love this Christmas, to each care home resident in the city. St Albans’ Anna Chaplain, Maggie Dodd is calling all children and crafters to create heart decorations which will be wrapped and delivered to care home communities across the city. Maggie can supply wooden hearts for children to decorate with pens, paint or collage, or packs of felt and ribbon to stitch padded hearts. There is also a knitting pattern to create hearts if your talent extends to knitting.
Would you like to be involved? If so please contact:
Maggie Dodd, St Albans’ Anna Chaplain mrsmaggiedodd@gmail.com or 07462 586773
All hearts should be completed by 11th December, ready to distribute the following week.
Please share the information in this Bulletin widely.
If you are not on the distribution email and would like to be, or if you are on the distribution and don’t want to be, please reply to this email and let me know what you would like to happen.
